I absolutely love his knife sharpener. It actually smaller than I thought, but don’t let the size fool you, it is the best sharpener I’ve found. You don’t have to be an expert to use this. The instructions include pictures and there’s arrows on the device to show the correct direction. This device suction’s to the counter top- and trust me it doesn’t budge until you release it. It looks only takes a few swipes and wa la- the knife is super sharp! My image displays the sharpener next to a nickel- so you can see the size comparison.

I was quite surprised when I received this product. I was expecting something big that I would have to find space for on my counter. So imagine my surprise when I received the box and looked inside. My first thought was that I had been duped! This is what I paid for? A complete waste of money!! I thought. But then I placed it on the counter, suctioned it down to the counter, and drew my knife through it 3 times. And that changed everything!! For one, you cannot remove this from the counter once you lock it down. It is firmly in place. My knives are sharper than they have ever been and with the least amount of effort I have ever put into sharpening my knives. If you have second thoughts about this, don't. Just purchase it. You will be glad you did. It requires no space at all and it works just as they say it does.

Size doesn't matter with this. It literally fits in the palm of your hand and that's all you need. We put this in our "junk" drawer in our kitchen because it fits. This thing has sharpened everything from my professional chef knives to my husband's pocket knives. I love this thing; I was really hesitant to use it on my super expensive knife set. But I found out it really does the job without you having to take your precious knives to a professional sharpener. Trust it. It hasn't done any harm to my very expensive knives! Keep in mind you will have a "really little pile of shaved metal" but that's only because it's doing it's job, it's not ruining anything as I thought it might be---once I used my knives afterwards I couldn't believe the difference. PS - It does NOT sharpen scissors though, I had an epic fail with that as expected...It's only meant for knives. Hope this review helps!

I bought this sharpener over a year ago for my hubby's birthday. He actually asked for an electronic one so I got two...this one and a bigger electronic sharpener. He was so impressed with this little sharpener that he never even opened the electronic one! We live in a small place so it's great that we can just suction cup it under our counter and it's out of site. Then when we want it we know exactly where it is. It sharpens knives just as awesome today as it did when we first got it. I definitely think this is a great buy!! I think only once has it un-suctioned itself and ended up on the counter (didn't hurt anything). Now I just put it directly above the toaster oven so if it falls it's not as long of a fall.

This knife sharpener was highly rated and a pleasant surprise with how easy it is to use. One or two passes of your blade through the sharpener and I immediately felt the grittiness of the blade edge and seen the metal shavings of the newly sharpened blade. I can sharpen all of my knives with certainty that they are sharp in a minute or two. The simple surface-mount suction is rock solid stable for safety while sharpening on any surface (mine is granite countertops). I can sharpen serrated knives and no more guessing with sharpening rod, angles of sharpening stones or bringing them to be professionally done. Sweet product that has restored all my cutlery.
